My story
Every story has a beginning, and for Tarek, his journey started with a question that lingered in his mind. It all began when he would often hear remarks from people around him about his weight, and he would attribute it to stress. It was a common perception, a societal belief that stress was the cause of weight gain. However, Tarek started questioning this concept and wondered how stress could lead to the accumulation of fat cells in the body.
His curiosity led him to seek answers from those around him, but he found that most people repeated the same phrase without truly understanding the science behind it. This realization sparked a calling in Tarek to pursue a deeper understanding of the relationship between stress and obesity.
In 2016, Tarek embarked on a journey of research to uncover the million-dollar question of how stress turns into obesity. He became certified as a mind-body eating coach from the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, combining his professional background in nursing science with stress mastery science and mindfulness practices to gain a holistic understanding of the subject.
For Tarek, his work is a cause he believes in wholeheartedly. He believes that the body cannot move forward without the soul, and he coaches people to master their stress, overcome low mood and improve their relationship with food through mindfulness practices and meditation. His approach is grounded in the dynamic eating psychology framework, a science-backed approach that addresses the mind-body connection and the importance of a holistic approach to overall well-being.
Today, Tarek is passionate about empowering people to take control of their lives and find happiness through mastering their stress and achieving mindfulness. His story is one of passion, perseverance and dedication to understanding the fundamental link between mind and body, and he is committed to helping others on their journey towards self-discovery and healing.
